Argentina has built its reputation on producing some of the greatest Malbec in the world. The extreme elevation of the Andes provides for intense solar interaction with the vines. All the extra sun at this elevation helps thicken the skin of the grapes, all the while providing the vines with the energy they need to produce healthy fruit. The end result is powerful wines, with extreme varietal characteristics.
