Domaine Henri Latour et Fils is a 37-acre estate owned and managed by brothers, François and Sylvain Latour, in Auxey-Duresses. They represent the 7th generation of growers. The vineyards—with vines that are 50 to 70 years old—are farmed sustainably using the lutte raisonnée philosophy, an approach that embraces using agrochemicals only when absolutely necessary. The fruit is hand-harvestedand sorted in the vineyard and again when it arrives at the Domaine via a sorting table. The vines and the grapes are cared for with all the respect they are due. The end result is a complex, quality Burgundy that also just happens to be a downright steal.

The short supply and global demand for quality red Burgundy mean prices have been skyrocketing over the last decade. We only purchase selected Burgundies that meet our stringent criteria for quality and value and pass our taste tests. At our price, you can afford to fill in more than one empty spot in your cellar.

The 2022 vintage of Les Grands Champs showcases the elegance and depth that define Pinot Noir from Auxey-Duresses. Aged in barrels, this limited-production wine (only 3,150 bottles) reveals vibrant red fruit aromas, delicate spice, and an earthy undertone. The palate is well-structured yet refined, with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins that promise excellent aging potential. Best enjoyed between 2027 and 2032, it is a true reflection of the estate’s commitment to sustainable farming and meticulous winemaking.

Aging: Aged in barrels, allowing the wine to develop structure, depth, and complexity.

100% Pinot Noir. Opens with aromas of wild strawberries, ripe cherries, and subtle baking spices, intertwined with earthy undertones of forest floor and dried leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate is layered with bright red fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a lively acidity that carries through to a refined, lingering finish. The delicate oak influence adds hints of vanilla and toast, enhancing the wine’s elegance and aging potential. Best enjoyed between 2027 and 2032.
