Perrin + Dobbs' was born with one goal in mind: “Crafting the highest quality Bordeaux varietal wines.” This led them to team up on a hunt to create a wine that easily competes with some top-notch, high-end Bordeaux. They achieved just that! 

Chad Alexander is the mind behind Perrin + Dobbs’s wines. He’s a Rockstar winemaker who worked in some of the most coveted wineries like Mt. Veeder’s Hess Collection Winery. With unparalleled attention to detail, Chad ensures that every element contributes to the ultimate expression of his wines. His pursuit of perfection allows his wines to rival and even surpass the very best in the world. His wines have obtained several high scores and ovations from some of the world's most important wine critics.

Perrin + Dobbs is part of a group of wineries founded by the esteemed Napa native, Charles Bartlett. This group includes some top-notch award-winning estates like Beau Vigne and On Q.

The 2021 Pitch Black is an amazing wine that takes the spotlight, featuring the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Paso Robles. The 2021 Ace of Spades wine has a rich and sophisticated scent with hints of cassis, black fruit, cedar, and tobacco. Only 657 cases were produced.

Aging in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah. Excellent structure and harmony between the pure fruit core and firm, supple backbone of polished tannins. Blackberries, sweet tobacco, cedar, and some floral violet nuances define the nose, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful texture and silky tannins.
