About the Wine 

Everything is a “matter of wine” at Fattoria Svetoni. Just below the Villa is a centuries-old cellar equipped with barriques and large barrels where, since 1865, Fattoria Svetoni wines have been produced, matured, and refined.Attention to environmental sustainability, searching for quality, and drinking pleasure are the hallmarks of Fattoria Svetoni's philosophy. 

Fattoria Svetoni was commissioned by Pietro Leopoldo at the end of the 18th century and ended in the mid-19th century. In 1865 the Svetoni family began producing wine. After a few changes of ownership, the “ideal farm” and its 23 hectares of vineyards were acquired in 2017 by Podere Rubino Srl. That’s the beginning of a real bet: six friends, who share a love for wine and for the land, decided that they wanted to create a place where tradition, modernity, and beauty can coexist.

Fattoria Svetoni is in the heart of Tuscany, in a unique and pristine landscape, close to the enchanting medieval and middle-age towns of Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia. Fattoria Svetoni is driving distance from Montepulciano, pearl of the Renaissance. Perched on top of a hill, this is a town of rare beauty, with elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, beautiful squares, and small hidden corners.

Tasting Notes: 100% Vermentino. Straw light yellow color with golden hues. Intense and persistent bouquet with notes of peach blossom, jasmine, and ripe white fruit. Well balanced and persistent that makes it fresh and pleasant. It pairs well with fish, shellfish, fine and flavored white meats, fresh cheeses.
