About The Wine

Bill Nancarrow is the winemaker for all of the California labels of Greg Norman Estates. Bill was the executive Winemaker for Duckhorn, overseeing all of their brands. Today Bill is able to bring out the varietal characteristics of all of his wines while showcasing the sense of place.  With many distinct microclimates, more
than 45 different soil types and a long growing season, Paso Robles is well suited to
producing a range of premium wines, in particular structured and juicy Cabernets.

Greg Norman spent the majority of his life pursuing excellence on the golf course. After years of success in the professional Golf scene, Greg has taken his pursuit of greatness to the vineyard. Greg Norman Estates produces wine from grapes grown in Australia, New Zealand, and California. The wines are all unique in their own way, but the common thread that connects them all is the consistent quality that can be attributed to Greg's competitive spirit. His unyielding approach to both golf and life earned him the nickname, The Great White Shark. Created from a family passion and strengthened by determination, Greg Norman Estates was founded in 1996. A strong believer in the role of wine as part of an active, easygoing lifestyle, Greg’s aim is to produce approachable yet bold wines to be enjoyed by family, fans, and wine enthusiasts alike.

Aging: 18 Months in French Oak Barrels

Tasting Notes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Inviting aromas of fresh blackberries and plums with allspice notes. The palate is rich and generous with layers of ripe juicy fruit flavors complemented by vanilla, tobacco leaf, and cinnamon spice. Smooth tannins and a refreshing line of acidity bring structure and balance to this versatile Cabernet Sauvignon.
