Altamura’s 400-acre estate in Wooden Valley is a secluded paradise for Cabernet lovers. Picture vines basking in Napa sunshine at 700–1,000 feet elevation, rooted in soils that rival Napa’s A-list spots like Rutherford Bench and Howell Mountain. These grapes? Dry-farmed, meticulously cared for, and bursting with flavor. It’s like they were born to be bottled perfection.
2018 was a Napa winemaker's dream, a vintage Decanter says “belongs in an echelon with the finest of the past two decades,” and Wine Spectator blessed this year with 99 points and said it was a "Spectacular year, with wines that are rich and dark, but detailed, restrained in style and very terroir-driven."

The 2018 Altamura Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is deep garnet-purple in color. The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a charming, sweetly fruited effort with loads of character. First produced in 1985 and all from estate fruit, aged in 70% new barrels, its healthy purple hue is followed by forward notes of redcurrants, darker berries, tobacco leaf, and loamy earth.
