The Schrader name is synonymous with outstanding, high-scoring Napa Valley Cabernet that is very limited and very expensive. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown has made so many 100 pt and near perfect wines, we've lost count.
Winemaker notes: A "WOW" wine. Flavors of raspberry and blueberry dance upon the palate finishing with subtle oak spice and a touch of sweet licorice that merge seamlessly. Ever approachable in its youth the Schrader RBS is a perennial favorite.

About the Winery
There is not much to be said about Schrader that hasn't already made headlines. Fred Schrader, an art and antiquity trader, attended the Napa Valley wine auction in the late 90's. He fell in love with Napa and then met Andy Beckstoffer and Thomas Rivers Brown. From that time, they sourced outstanding fruit from the To Kalon vineyard and set the wine world ablaze with some of the most sought after, collectable and delicious Napa Valley Cabernets ever created.
Reviews
Beautiful raspberries and orange peel. Medium to full body and round, layered tannins. Delicious finish. Juicy. ~94-95JS
A barrel sample, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS To Kalon Vineyard is deep purple-black colored with lovely kirsch, fresh blackcurrants, lifted lilacs and dried Provence herbs with wafts of rose hip tea and cinnamon stick. The palate is medium to full-bodied, refreshing and with nice harmony even at this early stage, finishing with great vibrancy. ~92-95 WA
