Winemaker notes: A classic vintage, with aromas of deep blackberry, toasty wood spice, and black licorice. About the Winery
There is not much to be said about Schrader that hasn't already made headlines. Fred Schrader, an art and antiquity trader, attended the Napa Valley wine auction in the late 90's. He fell in love with Napa and then met Andy Beckstoffer and Thomas Rivers Brown. From that time, they sourced outstanding fruit from the To Kalon vineyard and set the wine world ablaze with some of the most sought after, collectable and delicious Napa Valley Cabernets ever created.

Deep purple-black in color, the barrel sample of 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS has incredible intensity of cassis, fresh cherries and warm redcurrants with touches of tobacco, lavender and wild thyme. The palate is medium to full-bodied, grainy and lively with great expression and some spiciness on the finish. ~94-96 WA
