Nestled in the heart of Montalcino, Tenuta di Sesta is a historic family-run estate known for producing exceptional Brunello di Montalcino wines and high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Spanning 200 hectares, the estate benefits from a unique terroir with well-drained, mineral-rich soils and a mild microclimate, ideal for both vineyards and olive groves.

Managed by the Ciacci family since 1995, Tenuta di Sesta combines tradition and innovation, ensuring that each product reflects the character of the land. Just as their wines capture the essence of Montalcino, their olive oil is a pure expression of the estate’s dedication to craftsmanship and quality.

Crafted from heirloom olive varieties native to Montalcino—Correggiolo, Moraiolo, Olivastra Seggianese, Frantoio, Leccino, and Pendolino—Tenuta di Sesta 24 Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a pure expression of its terroir. Hand-harvested in October and cold-pressed within hours, this oil retains its full aromatic complexity and fresh character.

With vibrant notes of Tuscan herbs, cut grass, and artichoke, it offers a medium-bodied, buttery texture balanced by a persistent, savory finish with a touch of spice and gentle bitterness. Its low acidity and structured profile make it an ideal companion for a wide range of dishes, from fresh vegetables and salads to soups, grilled meats, and seafood.

The olives are hand-harvested from the estate’s own trees and carefully selected to ensure peak quality. They are cold-pressed within 24 to 36 hours at a local mill, preserving the oil’s natural aromas and flavors. After pressing, the oil is stored in steel tanks in the estate’s cellar and bottled on-site, ensuring optimal freshness and depth of flavor in every bottle.
