Philip Nobel Champagne Brut
From the House of Nobel, and the grandson of the philanthropist for whom the most famous prize in the world is named, comes this outstanding bubbly. Produced by Alfred Gratien of Epernay and selected by Master of Wine DC Flynt.
Tasting Notes: The wine is produced from a base of 2009 with 20% reserve wine. It is a blend of 41% chardonnay, 32% Pinot Noir and 27% Meunier, giving ripe apple aromas with a floral note, a bit of spice and a very elegant toasted character to the nose. The wine is tangy yet rich, with a substantial quality that us balanced by a lively acidity to bring the wine to a lingering finish.
