About the Wine

Cima di Conegliano is located in the province of Treviso, the heart of the Veneto region. The name derives from the beautiful hills of Conegliano, famed for the production of Prosecco. This family-owned property, now run by the second generation, is known for exceptional attention to quality production resulting in distinctive offeringsThe Distillery was founded in the early 70s by Franco da Ros,a passionate pioneer of the Prosecco culture: still today the family-run company maintains its artisan character, distinguishing itself for its particular attention to "niche" products.

Cima da Conegliano uses only grapes from the province of Treviso, certainly the most suited to a high-quality product.

Tasting Notes:Sparkling Wine. Straw color with greenish hues, aromas of green apples, and golden delicious, demi-sec like taste soft and long-lasting finish. Excellent as an aperitif, ideal with salumi and smoked fish.

Reviews

Though “extra dry” implies sweetness, here it translates as textural elegance, a lovely refinement that contrasts brisk mineral scents with sweeter fruit tones of fresh walnut and raw almond. For clams on the half shell, or fritto misto. ~91 Wine & Spirits,
