Reviews

Deep, meaty, and structured with a full body and layers of fine-grained tannins, which are polished and velvety. Complex and long with a deep core of dark fruit. This is under the radar and has small plots near Le Pin and La Fleur Petrus. ~95-96 JS

The 2022 Château Saint-Pierre (Pomerol) showed incredibly well. A blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc, it offers a ripe, powerful style that has some obvious minerality in its black cherry, plum, and chocolate-laced aromatics. These carry a medium to full-bodied, round, expansive Pomerol with solid tannins and a great finish. It could easily be the finest vintage I've tasted from this château. ~92-94 JD
