Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the best subzone of Mendoza, Uco Valley, the winery is named for life’s Great Adventure. The wines are unique as a result of growing grapes that drink pristine snowmelt and sunbathe under the blue sky at high altitude. This estate Malbec is a taste of this magical place. Finca Buenaventura made this wine to share with you, as you create your own journey.
Established in the Uco Valley at 1174 meters of altitude with 100 hectares, it is a project that aims to produce wines with their own identity, of high quality, and eminently accessible. Finca Buenaventura is a fusion of the best terroir of Argentina with people committed to a project of excellence, respect for nature, teamwork, honesty, and values.
Uco’s higher-altitude at the foot of the Andes Mountains combines with a dramatic diurnal shift that allows the grapes to retain balanced sugars and acidity while achieving phenolic ripeness. The dry continental climate brings little rain. Soils in the Uco Valley are alluvial and fairly uniform: clay and rock base with a stony, sandy surface. These free-draining soils are excellent for quality viticulture as they stress the vines, leading to decreased vigor and lower yields, and consequently wines with a higher concentration of flavor.

Tasting Notes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. In the glass, the wine shows violet-black, red colors. On the nose, the wine is bold, fruit-forward with hints of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, different layers of fruits lead the way. The wine is smooth, vibrant, with a lingering finish.
