High up in the beautiful hills of Trentino, where the air is fresh and the views are stunning, something special happens—this is where Altemasi Millesimato comes to life.

Altemasi Millesimato is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown at altitudes between 450 and 750 meters. These grapes benefit from the cool mountain air and the rich, diverse soils of Trentino. This special environment gives the wine its bright, fresh flavors and lively acidity—perfect for creating a sparkling wine that’s as elegant as it is delicious.

Altemasi is a true expression of the Trentino region. The hills where these grapes grow are essential to the wine’s character. Thanks to its high-altitude vineyards, unique climate conditions that are highly influenced by the Dolomite Mountains, and the closeness to the Adige River, this region is blessed with an outstanding terroir. A terroir that delivers, in James Suckling’s words, “extremely bright and fresh wines that offer extraordinary value without breaking the bank.”

Altemasi is made according to the strict standards of the D.O.C. Trento Metodo Classico appellation—the first of its kind in Italy, and one of the most respected in the world.

70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir. The Altemasi Riserva Millesimato Trentodoc pours a beautiful straw yellow with golden highlights, topped by a creamy foam and fine, persistent bubbles. Its nose is rich and inviting, offering aromas of red apple and freshly baked bread, with a subtle hint of cardamom spice. On the palate, it is minerally and well-balanced, with an elegant complexity that comes from over 60 months of aging on the lees. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with grilled fish, white meats, cheeses, and filled pasta, making it a perfect choice for any occasion.

This offers delicate scents evoking orchard fruit, chamomile and bread crust. On the linear palate, a racy perlage and vibrant acidity frame yellow apple, lemon zest and a hint of Alpine herb. ~90 Wine Enthusiast
