Since 1991, the Fleuriet family has been nurturing their vines with care and respect for the environment. Their vineyards stretch across 74 acres in Sancerre, all organically farmed since 2016 and following biodynamic principles since 2020. The secret behind the Les Demoiselles cuvée lies in the vineyards—planted on a perfect mix of soils: 50% Caillottes, 40% Terres Blanches, and 10% Silex. These south-facing slopes soak up plenty of sunshine, giving the Sauvignon Blanc grapes their vibrant character.

At Fleuriet et Fils, it’s all about keeping things simple and letting the grapes shine. They use gravity to move the wine through the winemaking process gently, and nitrogen to protect the wine from oxygen, so they don’t need to add sulfites. The wine is aged in a combination of concrete, wood, and clay amphorae, which gives it a lovely complexity without overpowering its fresh, fruity style.
