This is really something with blackberries, black truffles, black olives, and orange peel. Subtle yet powerful and structured. Medium body. Goes on for minutes. 3.5 pH with rich fruit.. Superb. ~97-98 JS

Smoky red and black fruits, chocolate, violets, and spring flower notes all emerge from the 2022 Enclos Tourmaline, a medium to full-bodied, lively, vibrant Pomerol that shows the riper style of the vintage yet stays fresh, focused, and elegant. It picks up more floral nuances with time in the glass and is a terrific effort. As always, this is all Merlot from vines near La Fleur Petrus and Trotanoy, from 30 hectoliters per hectare, that will spend 15 months in new oak. Tasted twice. ~95-97 JD
