From an incredible terroir in the heart of Pomerol (just across the street from L'Eglise Clinet), the 2022 Clos L'Eglise includes slightly less Merlot than usual and is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. It has a ripe, sexy, full-bodied profile as well ample red, blue, and black fruits, notes of graphite, chalky minerality, and chocolate, ripe, velvety tannins, terrific purity, and a great finish. This classic, opulent, sexy Pomerol is going to drink nicely with just a few years of bottle age yet should evolve for two decades. ~94-96 JD

The 2022 Clos L'Eglise is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, which is a bit more Franc than in the past. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal, flowers, mint and blood orange are all laced together in a vibrant, sumptuous Pomerol that delivers the goods. ~94-96 AG-VM
