About the Wine
Patience is a virtue, and bottle aged Pinot Noir is a joy. The wine is sourced from the Coelho Estate vineyard and it hints of eucalyptus and herbs coupled with blackberry and boysenberry on the nose, with light cherry and pomegranate becoming more pronounced on the palate. The mid-palate leans towards a mild herb flavor with earthy tones in the finish. Less than 20% new oak means that the fruit is the shining star here. Consider this wine with grilled or baked salmon.

The Coelho family is of Portuguese origin and have been quietly creating estate wines since 2004. Located at the gateway to the Eola-Amity Hills and the Van Duzer Corridor in Amity OR, Coelho Winery specializes in single-vineyard bottlings of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
