The story of Domaine Peres de L’Eglise dates back to 1805, when Benoît Jouffron, coming from a well-known CDP family, founded what was called Les Terres Saintes. It was many years later, in 1992, that the name was changed to Domaine des Pères de l’Église.
Today, this winery is managed by the 7th generation of the family. Serge y Laetitia are the proud owners and winemakers. They have grown the vineyards and achieved enormous changes to both the vineyard and cellar. Their care for the land led them to achieve an HVE sustainable certification in 2020.
This century-old Château has vineyards in some of the most outstanding appellations in Rhone. Le Calice de Saint Pierre is a beautiful blend, with grapes coming from four different terroirs of Chateauneuf du Pape. The result is impressive, delivering power, elegance, and depth.
This wine is for all savvy wine drinkers who are looking for an outstanding CDP. This wine is ready to drink today, but it will reward the patient who decides to wait.

A blend of 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% Syrah, it is full-bodied but bright in composition, balanced by lip-smacking blackberry and crisp plum flavors.
