Rías Baixas is a charming little region located in Galicia, northwestern Spain. This region produces the fresh, crisp ultimate white wine made with the Albrariño grape. Wine Spectator says, Albariño delivers fresh wines with an appealing balance of fruity and mineral character. The wines are crisp and clean, with bright acidity. They're usually good values, making a perfect house white to buy by the case for summertime entertaining.”

Established in 1997, this winery is a modern marvel with roots that stretch back through the records of winemaking history.

The 2021 Serra da Estrela Albariño is a testament to the love for the Albariño grape, nurtured on 34 hectares of pristine vineyards in O Rosal. This wine embodies the very essence of the Atlantic and Miño River, where water, soil, air, and sun coalesce into a magical elixir. The unique terroir of O Rosal, with its Atlantic influence and diverse microclimates, imparts a distinctive character to the Albariño grape.

Adegas Valmiñor is at the forefront of the national wine vanguard, blending traditional winemaking techniques with state-of-the-art technology

Delight in the crisp, refreshing taste of Albariño, bursting with notes of citrus, green apple, and a hint of minerality. Each sip transports you to the windswept coastlines of Rías Baixas, where the sea breeze and sun-kissed vineyards create a wine full of personality and complexity.

This wine is the epitome of summer drinking. Pair it with fresh seafood, grilled vegetables, or a light summer salad. Its vibrant acidity and elegant finish make it the perfect companion for a variety of dishes, enhancing your culinary experiences with its sophisticated flavors.

100% Albariño. Valmiñor shows a straw yellow color with green and lemony glint reflections. Bright and with a good tear. High intensity on the nose with a predominance of primary and varietal aromas such as mandarin citrus and orange peel, stone fruits such as apricot, and peach with slight hint of lime. It also has pleasant floral notes of orange blossom and white flowers. The palate is fresh, lively, and full-bodied wine, with a good structure and very well-integrated acidity. It has a good unctuousness. Smooth and pleasant with a bitter, fruity, and very long finish.

A pure nose of limes, green apples, nectarines and tangy minerals, followed by a subtle and textured palate with plenty of white-fruit and mineral allure. Vegan. Drink now. ~92 James Suckling
