Barolo is "THE KING OF WINES and the WINE OF KINGS!" And this 2018 Damilano Barolo Cannubi isn’t just a wine; it’s an experience. It’s history, artistry, and passion, bottled straight from one of the most prized vineyards in the world—Cannubi. Nestled in Italy’s enchanting Langhe Hills, this wine is the perfect union of tradition and innovation, crafted by a winery with over 130 years of excellence.

Cannubi isn’t just any vineyard. It’s the Grand Cru of Barolo, where magic happens. The soil here is like no other—a unique blend of clay-rich marl with high sand content (up to 45%) that gifts the grapes with their extraordinary character. The result? A wine that’s elegant, powerful, and unforgettable.

Founded in the 1800s, Damilano Winery is one of the oldest Barolo wineries. Now led by Giacomo Damilano’s grandchildren, this family-owned estate blends sustainability with tradition. Their deep connection to the Langhe Hills and respect for the land ensures every bottle delivers unparalleled quality.

The Damilano Barolo Cannubi is for anyone who loves a wine that tells a story. Ready to experience the soul of Barolo? Add the Damilano Barolo Cannubi to your collection today.

100% Nebbiolo. Juicy cherries, ripe plums, tobacco, licorice, and cocoa, accented by delicate herbal undertones. Broad and full-bodied, dry yet delightfully soft, with silky tannins and a persistent, luxurious finish.

Captivating aromas of roses, cherries, strawberries and fresh oranges. Medium to full body with extremely fine tannins that run the length of the wine. Succulent and extremely long and persistent. Such class. Drinkable but better in two or three years. ~95 James Suckling

In a heavy glass bottle, the 2019 Barolo Cannubi shows notes of dried fruit and redcurrant over a mid-weight, dark ruby appearance. This expression from the celebrated Cannubi cru (with its classic mix of sand, loam and clay) also shows a mineral-driven side with rusty nail and baked clay. There are savory hints of black licorice and crushed rose as well. The effect is long, polished and drying in this bigger production of 35,000 bottles. ~95 Robert Parker

A bright, solidly built red, with aromas of hay, cherry and plum leading to juicy fruit flavors complemented by wild herbs. Shows a supple texture offset by dense tannins, while the finish incorporates sweet spices. Best from 2026 through 2043. 2,900 cases made, 1,500 cases imported. ~94 Wine Spectator

Liquored raspberries waft from the glass, accompanied by drying rose petals, medicinal herbs and cinchona bark. The wine is well balanced, with sour red fruits and earthy elements working in tandem, leading to a finish with dusty, earthy notes and mouth-watering acidity. Drink 2026–2040.  ~92 Wine Enthusiast
