Tenuta Tre Rose is one of the oldest estates within this appellation, there are records dating from Roman times. This Tenuta is in a privileged area with soils dating back to the quaternary period, there were discovered fossils of hippopotamuses, rhinos, and mammoths! The terroir is fascinating; composed of sandy and clayey soils and a cold continental climate, which allows the Sangiovese to thrive and deliver elegant and striking wines.

Tenuta Tre Rose is composed of almost 500 acres on 5 stunning hills, and the 250 acres of vineyards are strategically placed only on the highest areas of the hills. The vineyard is managed in a natural and sustainable way.

Not only does Tenuta Tre Rose produce some of the most intriguing wines in the area, but it is also architecturally fascinating, steeped in history, and with landscapes that look like out of a Hollywood movie.

"The Tre Rose vineyards are a modern example of how it is possible to cultivate the vine while respecting the landscape and exploiting its shape with a correct choice of planting direction."
