Pratello was founded in 1867, on the morainic hills of the d'Annunzio-style shore of Garda lake. Today the estate is run by the fifth generation and extended across 197 acres of vineyards. This beautiful territory, influenced by a unique microclimate produces perfumed wines, that are round and persistent. Partello is a family-owned estate that has a great passion for the soil and an unparalleled work ethic, driven towards crafting wines with great balance and depth. The 'Nero per Sempre' is produced in a similar style to Amarone, the wine is rich and refined with loads of character.
The Pratello wine-producing philosophy is to maintain the highest respect for nature by creating a unique working protocol design for sustainability and biodiversity. Not only do they utilize natural products for the soil and in the cellar, but are also proactive in maintaining the biodiversity of the ecosystem. Pratello employs renewable energy sources on all fronts while developing a unique synergy between animals and plants. The family maintains a strict holistic vision of producing wines with fewer sulfates that are copper-free.
The 2019 Pratello 'Nero per Sempre' comes from 30 years old hand-picked vineyards. The grapes are produced in an Amarone-like fashion, dried in boxes from 35 to 45 days.
Aging: 15 months, 50% in stainless steel and 50% in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: On the nose, there is a pacific invasion of matured red fruits perfumes, nutmeg, and fresh mac, followed by a sensation of blackberry and plum jam.
In the mouth, it is a joy of red berries such as plum, and blueberry, with a wraparound and silky end. The Nero per Sempre is strong, balanced, and persistent, and it is pure art in a liquid form.
