Gremillet is a legacy of authenticity, simplicity, and relentless pursuit of excellence. The Gremillet family’s journey began in 1979, with a dream to create a champagne that would grace the most prestigious gatherings around the world. Today, that dream is a reality, with Gremillet Champagne proudly served in over fifty embassies and consulates worldwide.
What makes Gremillet Sélection Brut truly exceptional is its ability to capture the essence of success. Whether you're toasting to a job well done, a challenge overcome, or a goal reached, this Champagne is there to elevate the moment. It's not just about the bubbles in the glass; it's about the memories you create with each sip.
Located in the heart of the Côte des Bars, the Gremillet estate spans 48 hectares of prime champagne-growing land. The terroir, with its limestone soils and sunny slopes, is predominantly planted with Pinot Noir (85%), which gives Gremillet Sélection Brut its powerful and fruity character. The remaining vineyards are devoted to Chardonnay, adding finesse and freshness to the blend. This harmonious combination results in a champagne that is both vibrant and elegant, with an irresistible allure that keeps you coming back for more.
The Gremillet family’s philosophy is beautifully captured in their distinctive metal cap, which features the words “Al andar se hace camino” (Walker, you make the path as you go) by Machado. This ascending motif represents the path of life—a journey of perseverance, optimism, and success.
100% Pinot Noir. Elegant pale golden color with hints of amber, bright, luminous and limpid. A creamy mousse rim with fine bubbles. On the delightful nose, Pinot Noir reveals aromas of quince embellished with fine spicy almost peppery notes. The taste is rich, full-bodied and voluptuous, quite satisfying and thirst-quenching.
This has aromas of raspberries, walnuts, pie crust and spiced apples. Tasty and toasty, with a medium body and some phenolic tension on the palate. Tight bubbles. Drink now. ~91 James Suckling
Pinot Noir is the dominant grape in the Aube and this Champagne shows the richness it can give. Its apple and lightly structured character is concentrated with bright fruits on top. Drink now. ~90 Wine Enthusiast
