Just 3 miles from two of the most recognized appellations in the world, Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, on the Right Bank, is Fronsac, home of Château Francs Magnus.

Fronsac wines are a hidden gem among its Right Bank neighbors. They enjoy the privilege of being in an area with an enviable terroir, but unlike Pomerol and Saint-Emilion wines such as Petrus or Château Cheval Blanc, which have really high prices, Fronsac wines have an excellent value.

Since 2011, Chateau Francs Magnus belongs to the Roux-Oulié family, who also owns Chateau De Carlmagnus. In addition to being a winemaker, Arnaud has another passion, Art. Arnaud has managed to connect his art with the wine in an exquisite way (just take a look at some of the wine labels!), drawing inspiration from each of his works to his wines.

With approximately 32 acres of vineyards, Château Francs Magnus has a privileged terroir, located on a limestone plateau. The technical consultants are Stéphane Derenoncourt & Hannah Fiegenschuh, so we can assure you that you have a GREAT wine in front of you!

"Our goal is not only to produce a great wine but also to make you discover the beauty and richness of our terroir." Arnaud Roux Oulié.

90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc Red wine. Deep color. Aromas of black fruit notes. The finish is spicy and minty with intensity and freshness. Pair this wine with beef stew, grilled hamburger, mature cheeses, or chocolate dessert!

Like the depth of fruit and intensity to this Bordeaux Sup., which shows blackberry and blueberry character. Ripe tannins, too. Wait and see, but I like it. ~92 James Suckling
