Stunning, Easy-to-Drink Cab Franc: 2020 Domaine de Pallus Messanges Chinon Rouge
Chinon is one of the most enchanting cities in the whole country, a beautiful hillside town that is located above the waters of the River Vienne and known for producing some of the most delightful Cab Francs in the world, including the 2020 Domaine de Pallus Messanges Chinon Rouge.
Domaine de Pallus is located right in the heart of the Chinon appellation and is blessed with some of the region’s finest vineyards.
The estate’s owner, Bertrand Sourdais is also the winemaker behind this work of art. His expertise includes working with some of the biggest names in the industry like Mouton-Rothschild in Bordeaux, Santa Rita in Chile, and with Alvaro Palacios in Priorat.
This wine is an outstanding, young, fresh, and easy-to-drink Cabernet Franc. It’s everything you would expect a Chinon to be, but better! Highly advise lightly chilling this wine while kicking back.
