France's Tangiest, Most Thirst-Quenching White Wines: 2020 Domaine Chatelain Sancerre Expression-Terroirs

We love Sancerre, we just can’t get enough of it, and apparently, neither do some of the major wine critics and magazines in the world, like Wine Spectator who said that it is “home to some of France's tangiest, most thirst-quenching white wines.” And Forbes Magazine called it “the world’s greatest white wine.”  Sancerre is undoubtedly one of the most exciting white wines in the world.

Today’s offer is one of these tangiest, most thirst-quenching wines, the 2020 Domaine Chatelain Sancerre Expression-Terroirs.

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes to produce this stunning Sancerre comes from different terroirs, 80% from vineyards on clay and limestone soil, and 20% from the “caillottes” of Verdigny, Sury en Vaux, in Chavignol. The result is an elegant, and aromatic wine with exotic fruit flavors and English sweet notes, and a fresh, fruity, and well-balanced palate.

Sancerre is the benchmark for Sauvignon Blanc around the world. We love this wine so much for its versatility and lip-smacking, thirst-quenching qualities.
