This combination of different types of soil, the presence of lakes and streams, and the unique soil and microclimate of the area make this part of Chianti Classico particularly special, resulting in wines with great elegance and extraordinary.
2015 was an amazing year for Chianti, Wine Spectator blessed this vintage with a 97pt review and said it delivered "Long-lived, powerful and concentrated reds, yet the best have purity and elegance; great value."
Aging: 18 months in French oak barrels.
Notes of ripe red fruit are enhanced by mineral overtones. The intense palate shows a good balance between acidity and tannins, with a long and complex finish.
