Moscato Bianco has a rich history, steeped in centuries-old techniques and timeless elegance.
At the heart of every bottle of Moscato d'Asti lies a story of tradition and innovation. Harvested from the lush vineyards of Piedmont, Italy, the Moscato Bianco grape is meticulously selected for its aromatic profile and vibrant character.
Once pressed, the grape juice undergoes fermentation in pressurized stainless-steel tanks, a technique pioneered by Romano Dogliotti in the 1970s. This method preserves the wine's natural effervescence and delicate flavors, resulting in a light-bodied elixir with just the right balance of sweetness and acidity.
Luca, born into a family of vignerons, knows that wine can only be harvested once a year. But what sets this wine apart is the passion and dedication that go into crafting it. Luca also started brewing beer.
Bruna and Luigi, the driving force behind this winery, live by one principle: they don't just use the land; they live it. Their collaboration with nature is a continuous journey of learning and growth. They cultivate the vine, but they also understand the elements that breathe life into it: Air, Fire, Water, and the marvelous Earth! Biodynamic practices in both vineyard and cellar.
Why is it called Filari Corti? The vineyard’s unique rectangular shape required rows to be planted transversally, resulting in rows approximately 200 meters long. Hence, the name “Filari Corti” or “Short Rows” - a playful nod to the vineyard's layout
100% Moscato. This light straw-yellow Moscato dazzles with intense fruit aromas, complemented by refreshing hints of mint, chamomile, and acacia. Its taste is aromatic, perfectly balanced, and delightfully sweet, making every sip a memorable experience.
