100% Chardonnay. The 2023 Domaine du Clos des Poulettes Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay greets you with a lively bouquet of citrus zest, fresh grapefruit, and delicate acacia blossoms. On the palate, it’s crisp and vibrant, showcasing a beautiful interplay of bright acidity and silky texture. Subtle saline notes add a layer of complexity, while the refreshing finish lingers with hints of lemon peel and a whisper of minerality. It’s elegant yet approachable, a perfect balance of Burgundian finesse and modern freshness.

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is aromatic, pure and concentrated. It expresses notes of ripe stone fruits (juicy yellow peach, ripe apricot), subtle touches of exotic fruits (green mango) and yellow melon, associated with floral notes (acacia, lime blossom), tangy notes of fresh yellow lemon, grapefruit zest, candied lime and a very slight sweetness of acacia honey and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is precise and lively. It expresses notes of lime, yellow lemon, green pear, candied lemon zest, a delicate touch of mango, a mineral touch (chalk) and subtle floral notes (acacia, lime).
