Tom Hinde has been the lead winemaker for Taub Family Vineyards since 2012. Tom is a renowned wine industry expert with over three decades of experience in vineyard cultivation, winery management, and artisan winemaking. He has held prestigious roles, including President and Director of Winemaking at Flowers Vineyard and Winery, and General Manager at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, where he contributed to the success of Lokoya, Cardinale, Stonestreet Winery, and Vérité Estate. This exceptional wine is made from grapes sourced from premium mid-valley vineyard sites, creating a quintessential Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging: 18 months in French oak barrels
94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby color. On the nose, this wine has ripe dark fruit such as cherries and blackberries. Oak is well integrated with baking spice and subtle cedar notes. The medium, chewy tannins display a long flavorful finish. Pairs well with grilled red meats (especially steak), hearty stews and hard cheeses.
