Right in the heart of Torrecuso, in Benevento lies the beautiful vineyard of La Rivolta. It all started with the dream of Giovanni and Teresa, who were the first innovators for what is today one of the largest and most productive estates in the entire Benevento region.

This prosperous Fattoria is run by the third generation of the family, the brothers Paolo, Giovanna, Gabriella, and Giancarlo. These members of the family achieved a beneficial change for Fattoria La Rivolta, greatly increasing the quality and producing top, award-winning wines. They also started sustainable practices in the vineyard. The grapes are grown using organic practices and the vineyard has been organically certified by the ICEA for more than 20 years.

The almost 80 acres of Fattoria La Rivolta vineyards are located in mountainous terrain, with spectacular calcareous-clayey soils. They are planted with autochthonous Taburno and Sannio grapes. 

2017 Fattoria La Rivolta Aglianico del Taburno is a beautiful and elegant wine, and it is the perfect wine for Italian cuisine. If you want to elevate the tasting experience, pair it with aged Italian cheeses, pizza Napolitana, steak, or game. 

Aging: 18 months in French new oak barrels.
