Piper-Heidsieck is not just another Champagne house—it is a legend. Based in Reims, it sources grapes from over 100 crus, crafting bold, fruit-forward wines with elegance and precision. Known for its vibrant style, it has become the go-to pour for royalty, Hollywood stars, and anyone who loves a Champagne that makes an entrance.
Founded in 1785, it gained instant fame when Florens-Louis Heidsieck presented a bottle to Marie Antoinette. Since then, Piper-Heidsieck has survived revolutions, charmed film icons, and built a reputation for excellence. Centuries later, the house still delivers the same uncompromising quality that put it on the map.
Winemaker Émilien Boutillat is the mastermind behind every bottle, blending tradition with innovation. Named "Sparkling Winemaker of the Year" by the International Wine Challenge (IWC) at just 35, he has an obsession with balance and precision. His goal? To ensure Piper-Heidsieck remains as fresh, complex, and charismatic as ever.
Blending is an art at Piper-Heidsieck, with reserve wines adding layers of depth and consistency. The wines age in historic chalk cellars, developing their signature richness and finesse. Sustainable vineyard practices and minimal intervention allow the fruit’s purity to shine through, keeping the house’s bold, structured style intact.
Champagne’s cool climate and chalky soils make it the perfect playground for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. By sourcing from the region’s finest crus, Piper-Heidsieck captures the balance of power and elegance that makes Champagne one of the most coveted wine regions in the world.
Aging: 24 months on lees, plus 6 months after disgorgement.

Lively, elegant, and dangerously easy to drink.
A vivacious Champagne, this shows flavors of black cherry, toast point, white peach purée, and salted almond set on a finely detailed mousse. Creamy and mouthwatering on the spiced finish. ~ 92, Wine Spectator
The Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Cuvée Brut is sleek and delivers nicely on the palate. Aromas and flavors of apple and peach skin shine through. Bright and zesty on the finish, making it an excellent partner with tuna tartare. ~ 91, Wine.com

A fruity and playful champagne brut. On the nose aromas of apples and pear pie follow through to a medium body with medium bubbles. Supple, fruity and refreshing. Drink now. ~90 James Suckling
Balanced, full of white fruits and attractive acidity, this is a gently textured Champagne. It is rounded, the dosage giving softness. A wine that is a great apéritif style, it is ready to drink. Roger Voss ~90 Wine Enthusiast
