Domaine Emile Cheysson is nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Chiroubles, just a stone's throw away from the Oriental-style Church, with a backdrop of the majestic Alps. Here, the exceptional terroirs of this vineyard elevate the Chiroubles wines to unparalleled heights.

In 1868, the visionary industrialist, statesman, and sociologist, Émile Cheysson, acquired the estate. Previously owned by the monks of the Cluny Abbey, who cultivated the hills of Chiroubles and established a priory on the current site, the estate underwent a transformation into a family venture. Over 150 years, through successive generations, the Cheysson family has relentlessly modernized and expanded the estate, ensuring its legacy lives on.

While the 17th-century cellars stand as a testament to the estate's age-old roots, today, it boasts 26 hectares of vineyards, specializing in Chiroubles and Beaujolais Blanc appellations. This ideal location, perched 400 meters above sea level, offers a picturesque panorama of the Beaujolais vineyards and the Alps, making Chiroubles a destination not just for wine, but for its scenic beauty and gastronomy.
