The story of Ca' del Bosco begins with Annamaria Clementi Zanella, whose passion for the land led her to purchase "Ca’ del Bosc," a modest house in the hills of Erbusco. Her inspiration laid the foundation for the exquisite wines that would follow. Antonio Gandossi, the visionary manager, pioneered high-density vineyards, revolutionizing winemaking in Italy. Their legacies live on through every bottle.
In 1978, the first trio of spumantes burst onto the scene, capturing hearts with their brilliance. The journey continued with innovation, including the birth of Crémant spumante, the creation of Vintage Pinot, and the introduction of new varietals like Pinot Nero and Chardonnay.
With over 600 acres of certified organic vineyards across 10 townships in Franciacorta, Ca' del Bosco cultivates its legacy directly from the earth. This commitment to the land ensures that each grape expresses its unique character, contributing to the exceptional quality of every bottle.
Originating from the Latin "franchae curtes," Franciacorta signifies a region exempt from tribute. Its history is woven with a dedication to winemaking, leading to D.O.C. status in 1967 and D.O.C.G. recognition in 1995. Today, Franciacorta is a symbol of passion, quality, and a thriving wine culture.
Maurizio Zanella's words echo the philosophy of Ca' del Bosco: "Give back to the land what has been 'taken' from it over the years." This approach drives the quest to protect the unique terroir and craft authentic wines that speak of the region's identity.
Cuvee Prestige is the most iconic wine from the estate. It’s a dream born from three decades of experience and deep love for the land. This wine is the purest expression of Franciacorta's soils.

Aromas of spring blossom and white stone fruit waft out of the glass on this lovely Metodo Classico. Dry and savory, the vibrant palate offers yellow pear, creamy Rennet apple, and lemon zest before the barest hint of brioche on the close. An elegant, persistent perlage provides the backdrop. ~93 Wine Enthusiast
Bright, rich straw yellow with gold reflections and a persistent mousse. On the nose there are notes of baked apple, pineapple, delicately of blood orange, and in the echo of sea salt. On the palate it presents with a great fruit core and lots of juice, the mousse supports the course pleasantly, with great acidity in the finish, very well done this year! ~93 Falstaff
Sourced from 197 certified organic vineyards throughout the Franciacorta region, this sparkler shows the depth and beauty of this region. The nose is a mix of orchard fruits both fresh and baked, combined with spices and fresh bread. The palate is layered between forward ripe apple and lemon notes to cinnamon-dusted brioche to tart cream. It's rich but balanced by the vibrant acidity found on the finish. ~92 Wine Enthusiast
