Andrew Bailey, the founder of Misty Cove, set out to craft a wine company in 2008 that would produce incredible wines without the snobbery. For him, wine is about sitting down with friends, enjoying a glass, sharing stories, and having a good laugh.His vision laid the foundation for a modern legacy of New Zealand winemaking that Misty Cove continues today.

Menthol grassiness with pea pod and petrichor, wet slate aromas. Good concentration on the palate. Lots of ripe passionfruit, gooseberry, lime and mango with a grassy, herbaceous character. Ultimately, marmite style, as the structure is very good and the concentration is too. ~91 Decanter
