“One of my favorite wineries, Beau Vigne’s Vineyard sits at a high elevation in the southern Napa Valley, back Soda Canyon Road, overlooking the Pritchard Hill Gap as well as the Stagecoach Vineyard. The AVA for these wines is Atlas Peak and the soils are all volcanic origin. This winery is currently on a qualitative roll.” ~Robert Parker

Renowned winemaker Julien Fayard uses his expertise to produce wines that express pure, terroir-driven specificities and characteristics. Julien gained his knowledge and defined his core winemaking style from working at grand Chateaux in France such as Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Lafitte.

Beau Vigne flies under the radar as a “hidden gem” and small boutique winery producing only a few thousand cases a year. Fans and critics alike flock to the winery for its outstanding wines and genuine hospitality including famed critic Robert Parker who refers to Beau Vigne as “one of my favorite wineries.”

Beau Vigne’s wines are highly esteemed and cherished among some of the world’s most important winemakers, and they have achieved numerous high-accolades. Today, they are considered among Napa Valley’s most acclaimed wines.

Old School Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from vines over 50 years old, bringing a true taste of heritage. In 2022, 5% of the wine was fermented in open-top barrels, adding a smoothness to the tannins, making it super drinkable even while young. With only 68 cases made, this is a rare gem you won't want to miss.

Aging: in months in French oak barrels.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This full-bodied wine bursts with rich dark fruit, balanced by smooth tannins and vibrant acidity. Hints of vanilla and spice from oak aging add depth, while the long finish leaves a lasting impression.

Julien Fayard has been making the Beau Vigne wines since 2019. This wine offers wonderfully fragrant aromatics of blackberry and tobacco with sweet cedar and clove notes. Medium to full-bodied, it presents luscious boysenberry and ripe blackberry fruits with supple mineral-rich tannins that offer excellent length, culminating in a sweet, spiced finish. Very compact and juicy, it makes for enjoyable, upfront drinking. "Old School" is an experimental programme focused on extended barrel ageing, in this case for 36 months, and despite the lengthy ageing, the wine remains well-balanced in its oak profile. ~94 Decanter
