“One of my favorite wineries, Beau Vigne’s Vineyard sits at a high elevation in the southern Napa Valley, back Soda Canyon Road, overlooking the Pritchard Hill Gap as well as the Stagecoach Vineyard. The AVA for these wines is Atlas Peak and the soils are all volcanic origin. This winery is currently on a qualitative roll.” ~Robert Parker

Renowned winemaker Julien Fayard uses his expertise to produce wines that express pure, terroir-driven specificities and characteristics. Julien gained his knowledge and defined his core winemaking style from working at grand Chateaux in France such as Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Lafitte.

Beau Vigne flies under the radar as a “hidden gem” and small boutique winery producing only a few thousand cases a year. Fans and critics alike flock to the winery for its outstanding wines and genuine hospitality including famed critic Robert Parker who refers to Beau Vigne as “one of my favorite wineries.”

Beau Vigne’s wines are highly esteemed and cherished among some of the world’s most important winemakers, and they have achieved numerous high-accolades. Today, they are considered among Napa Valley’s most acclaimed wines.

The fruit is sourced from exceptional sites in Rutherford, Yountville, and Oakville.

Aging: 20 months in French oak barrels, 50-60% New Oak

This sleek but powerful and concentrated wine offers enticing and deep black cherry, graphite and cocoa aromas followed by fine-grained tannins that tighten up as you sip. The wine is built for the long haul, needing time for more complexity to develop and the texture to soften.

Winemaker Julien Fayard adds a touch of Syrah to the ‘Juliet’ bottling, offering a counterpoint to "Romeo" with its more elegant and nuanced character. The Syrah lifts the acid profile and brightens the fruit, resulting in succulent black cherry and fleshy plum fruit, candied violets, extremely fine-grained tannins, and a lasting finish with building intensity of fruit and warm baking spices. The fruit is sourced from exceptional sites in Rutherford, Yountville, and Oakville, and the wine is aged for approximately 20 months in 50-60% new French oak. ~95 Decanter
