“Sancerre is home to some of France's tangiest, most thirst-quenching white wines, made from Sauvignon Blanc.” ~Wine Spectator.

Sancerre is an appellation located in the eastern part of the Loire Valley. This appellation produces red and rosé, but it’s undoubtedly the white Sancerre the flagship style of the whole region.

We love Sancerre, and so do some of the most celebrated wine critics in the world, like Robert Parker who described Sancerre as "a beacon of purity and precision,” or Wine Enthusiast who said it is "the epitome of elegant white wines.”

Domaine du Nozay's history is as captivating as its wines. Established in 1970 by Baron Philippe de Benoist and his wife, Marie-Hélène, the estate began with a single hectare of Sauvignon Blanc, the cherished grape of Sancerre. Over the years, their unwavering commitment and hard work expanded the vineyard to 15 hectares, producing wines that are now celebrated globally.

At Domaine du Nozay, the pursuit of excellence goes hand in hand with respect for the environment. Certified in Organic Agriculture since 2011 and Biodynamics since 2017, the estate's practices ensure that each bottle embodies the purity and vitality of the land. Using natural fertilizers, meticulous soil cultivation, and a pneumatic press, the grapes are handled with the utmost care. Vinification occurs in stainless steel barrel-shaped vats and clay amphorae, allowing the wine to develop naturally without unnecessary additives.

This exquisite Sancerre is the perfect companion for light, fresh dishes. Think of a goat cheese salad, grilled asparagus, or even a classic seafood platter. Its lively flavors and crisp finish make it an ideal choice for enhancing a variety of culinary delights.

100% Sauvignon Blanc. A brilliant and intense color with golden reflections distilling elegant and discreet aromas of pink grapefruit, lychee, lemon, and especially of sliced yellow peach. With 10 years of age, there are notes of honey and a golden hue.  Refreshing notes of pear in syrup, give it pleasure on the palate.
