Your New Favorite Daily Wine: 2016 Castelli di Grevepesa Clemente VII "Settimo" Toscana IGT
If you’re a Tuscan freak and you also happen to be looking for your new daily wine, meet your new BFF: The 2016 Castelli di Grevepesa Clemente VII "Settimo" Toscana IGT.
This is everything you’d expect from great wine from Tuscany, except for the price. This is a rich and sophisticated red vino -at less than $24/ bottle, I might add- will amuse you from beginning to end.
2016 Castelli di Grevepesa Clemente VII "Settimo" Toscana IGT comes from one of the most adored (and beautiful) wine regions in the entire world, the place that Wine Enthusiast referred to as “A hotbed for tasty red wines”. And tasty is this wine's last name!
Castelli di Grevepesa’s aim is to produce high-quality wines, operating careful grape selection and a rigorously controlled vinification process. This cooperative delivers excellent wines at an excellent value.
The 2016 Vintage in Tuscany was AMAZING. It was awarded 98 Points by Vinous Media: "The wines are simply extraordinary".
"A gorgeous red showing sliced strawberries, dark plums, and crushed walnuts. Medium to full body, juicy and fine young tannins, and a bright finish." ~91 Points, James Suckling.
