About the Wine

“Sancerre is home to some of France's tangiest, most thirst-quenching white wines, made from Sauvignon Blanc.” ~Wine Spectator.

Sancerre is an appellation located in the eastern part of the Loire Valley. This appellation produces red and rosé, but it’s undoubtedly the white Sancerre the flagship style of the whole region.

We love Sancerre, and so do some of the most celebrated wine critics in the world, like Robert Parker who described Sancerre as "a beacon of purity and precision,” or Wine Enthusiast who said it is "the epitome of elegant white wines.”

Born from a tight-knit crew of passionate growers in Sancerre—the rockstar region of the Loire Valley—this 2022 stunner is all about crisp character, flinty charm, and tongue-tingling citrus flair.

Crafted by the Cave Coopérative des Vins de Sancerre—founded in 1963 by a group of local winegrowers determined to showcase the region’s brillianceLe Petit Broux is a product of both heritage and innovation. This cooperative isn’t just about making wine; it’s about preserving the character of the land and supporting the people who know it best.

The 2022 vintage captures everything that makes this region special. Sourced from a patchwork of vineyard plots shaped by the famed “Sancerre Fault,” the wine draws depth and nuance from Jurassic and Cretaceous soils—a geological fluke that gifted the region its signature flinty, mineral edge. Add in a cool climate, meticulous vineyard work, and expert winemaking, and you’ve got something truly compelling in the glass.

Pure. Polished. Unmistakably Sancerre.

Tasting Notes

100% Sauvignon Blanc. Le Petit Broux opens with vibrant aromas of citrus, white peach, and a touch of gooseberry. On the palate, it’s crisp and focused, with that beautiful Sancerre tension between fruit and minerality. The finish is clean, lifted, and begging for a second sip.
